How To Shirret

1- Cut scraps into strips 3/4" wide. There's a quick way to fold and cut multiple layers at once.

2- Baste in and out through the middle of a long strip with the point of the special needle. You are not sewing- you are filling the fabric strips onto the needle to turn them into 'folds'.

Shop Special Hook

3- Use the hook on the needle to make a slip loop of Shirrét™ cord.

4- Now wiggle and pull a fabric fold over the stitch on the hook.
